http://hosting-tributes-24880.tributes.com/show/Michael-Kupsh-90638297Michael Kupsh Jr.Michael Kupsh Jr., age 79, formerly of Kellnersville, passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 30, 2011, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.Mike was born on March 15, 1931, in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc, County, son of the late Michael and Anna (Kopidlansky) Kupsh Sr. Mike was a Korean Army Veteran entering the service in 1953 and served with the Tank Co. 22nd Infantry in Germany. On August 11, 1956, Mike married the former Carol Kvitek at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Together the couple owned and operated Kupsh�s Store and Tavern in Menchalville for many years. Mike was also employed with Burger Boat and the Invincible for many years until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a lifetime member of Kubale-O�Connell VFW Post #6179 of Kellnersville and the KBA (Kellnersville Betterment Association). Mike enjoyed driving his race car, fishing, woodworking, polka music, the Green Bay Packers, antique cars, farm equipment, and collecting toy tractors. Most of all, Mike enjoyed his Kingsbury, cigars, and socializing (BS�ing).Survivors include his wife: Carol Kupsh, Kellnersville; his seven children and their spouses: Pam (Jim) Dietrich, Reedsville; Susan (Jack) Krubsack, Kaukauna; Randy Kupsh, DePere; Roger (Tracy) Kupsh, DePere; Betsy (Bob) Ebert, Reedsville; Dan �Rubber� Kupsh and Tish, Menchalville; Jenny (Jeff) Christel, Reedsville; thirteen grandchildren: Greg (Kelly) Dietrich; Tracey (Ryan) Schmidt; Stephanie and Joseph Krubsack; Kamry and Connor Kupsh; Erica Ebert and her fianc� Joey Schmatz; Amberlee, Austin, Elliott, and Cole Ebert; Bryer and Brennen Christel; five great-grandchildren: Ethan, Jadyn, and Malayna Dietrich; Damon and Weston Schmidt; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Harry (Dolores) Kupsh, Reedsville; Joseph (Elaine) Kupsh, Two Rivers; one sister: Joan Sheehy, Reedsville; four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Jane (Kenny) Lorenz, Francis Creek; Margie Fogeltanz, Kellnersville; Mary (Hal) Dietrich, Brillion; Bob Kvitek, Menchalville; Judy (William) Decker, Reifs Mills. HELEN PORTERMrs. Carl Porter, 64, of 827 Smith St., Green Bay, died Wednesday
at Brown County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home,
Kellnersville. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Kalisek will officiate and
burial will be in Kossuth National Cemetery.
Mrs. Porter, nee Helen Kvitek, was born May 11, 1904, in the Town of
Cooperstown, daughter of the late Matt and Mary Blahnik Kvitek, and
was married to Mr. Porter Oct. 29, 1927, at Manitowoc. The couple
lived at Manitowoc two years before moving to Green Bay.
Survivors include the husband; two daughters, (private) and eight
grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday where at
8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
