Clara Blahnik Chizek per Philip Olson, West Allis, WI letter 1977This is part of a booklet on the Cigler family history in America. It lists all of Wencel Blahnik Jr's offspring by his wife Alvina Cigler. encel & Alvina had 4 children:ALVINA CIGLER was born February 9, 1895. On Nov. 25, 1913, she married Wencil "Jim" Blahnik (BD 11/5/1885). Jim died December 10, 1926. Then on June 25, 1930, she married Ed Echtner (BD 4/5/1889). He died Dec. 10, 1963, and is buried in Spruce, Wisconsin, where they made their home. Jim Blahnik is buried in the Kossuth National Cemetary in Manitowoc County (WI). Jim and Ed were cousins.
Son Edward was born to Jim and Alvina on March 15, 1914. He was married on August 23, 1939, to Mabel Slatky (BD 9-12-1909). THey had a son Edward born May 20, 1942, who married Claudia Harlson (BD 1/16/1943) on August 17, 1968. They have two sons, Robert Edward, born May 19, 1970, and Jerome Alan born on June 8, 1971. Eddie and Mabel also had a girl--Bonnie, born August 4, 1945, and married to Michael Vieau. Bonnie and Michael have a daugher, Amy, born June 17, 1975, and a son Eric Michael, born June 19, 1976.
Daughter Charlotte, "Lottie" as we all kno her, was born Dec. 8, 1915, and on June 16, 1945, married Arnold Olson (BD 3-19-1917). Their two sons are Philip Gerard, born on March 20, 1952, and Gregory Dean born on May 6, 1955.
Son Milton was born June 8, 1923, and his wife is the former Lucille Piper (BD 1-19-1927). They were married November 8, 1947. Kathy was born on May 1, 1948, and she married George Mauldin in 1971. They have a son Karl, who was born on Octobert 21, 1972. Milton and Lucille had their son Mark on March 20, 1951, Dale on July 23, 1955, Glenn on June 10, 1957, and Beth on August 8, 1967.
Daughter Agnes, "Betty" to us all, was born Sept. 13, 1926. She was a tiny babe when her father died. She married Charles McNabb (BD 6-12-1921). They have a daughter Connie, who was born July 14, 1948. She was married to Kenneth Ballweg and later divorced. She has a little girl, Becky, born April 22, 1972. Betty and Chuck also have two sons--John born on Dec 22, 1958, and Paul on Dec. 24, 1960.
