Here is another old obit from 3-12-2002. Most of the info below came from the obit but also from the Kewaunee county web site (mostly the Cemetary info)Schroeder, Robert E.Robert E. Schroeder, age 74, Kewaunee, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Bellin Memorial Hospital. He was born June 22, 1927, in Kewaunee to the late Ernest and Julia (Blahnik) Schroeder. On Sept. 3, 1976, he married Clara Suchocki Johnson. Robert was a lifetime member of Holy Rosary Parish, lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 3392 and the D.A.V. Robert was employed by leyse Aluminum Co. and General Houseware of Kewaunee for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. He served in the U.S. Navy for 12 years and was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Clara; two stepchildren, Kathy (Dayid);Augustine, Manawa; John (Kristin) Johnson, Waupaca; seven grandchildren, Heather (Chris) Arndt, Little Chute; Tla and David Augustine, Manawa; Joel and Jill Johnson, Waupaca; Katelyn and Megan, Waupaca; two sisters, Gladys (Dan) Johanek, Tisch Mills; Grace Hanson, Belvidere, III.; one half brother, Tony (Marie) Kalcik, Kewaunee; one stepsister, Joanne Pekarek, Mishicot; one aunt, Lillian Swagel, Kewaunee; nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Danielle Augustine; his brother, Wallace Schroeder; his stepfather, Anton Kalcik; and his stepsister, Mildred. . Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday and until 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee Veterans services at 7 p.m. and parish wake service at 8 p.m. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14 at Holy Rosary Church with the Rev. Daniel Dewane officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery with full military rights.Bob's family would like to extend a special thank you to all the hospital and Hospice staff at Bellin Memorial Hospital for the kind and compassionate care given to Robert the past two weeks

Swagel, Lillian M.
Lillian M. Swagel, 98, Kewaunee died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Linden Manor in Kewaunee. She was born Oct. 20, 1911 in the Town of Carlton to the late Wenzel and Mary (Younger) Blahnik.
She married George F. Swagel June 24, 1930 and he preceded her in death March 10, 1977. She and her husband farmed in West Kewaunee all of their lives until retiring.
Lillian was member of St. John Church at Krok and now Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. She was a member of St. John's Rosary Society, the Kewaunee Senior Citizens and the Golden Tones. She loved to play the button accordion and playing sheepshead cards.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: George A. and Mae Swagel; Ray and Betty Swagel all of Kewaunee; nine grandchildren: Kathy Swagel; Geri (Steve) Bacheller; Joan (Glen) Wallace; Joseph Swagel; William Swagel; Milton Swagel; James (Tammy) Swagel; Michael Swagel and Barb (Rick) Meister; eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Nathan Swagel; two brothers: James (Emma) Blahnik; Ed (Sybil) Blahnik and one sister: Julia (Anton) Kalcik.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Wednesday until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Krok.
