Robert Lee Gerhardt Sr was married twice. He owned a Welding business in Yucca Valley, CA. He died on Jan 13, 1995 of cancer and was 51 years old. He is survived by his wife, Shron and a son Raymond Lee and his wife, Bernice. He was preceeded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond, and a son, Robert Jr.
He was a 1952 graduate of Algoma High School. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. After a 20 year stint in the US Navy, he wored as a welder at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat center.
He was the owner of Bob's Portable Welding Service in the Yucca Valley, CA. The house specialty was "ornamental iron", custon made to 'your specifications'.

Wayne E. 'Skies' Kostka
Wayne E. "Skies" Kostka, age 71, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, in Shawano.
He was born on June 10, 1937, in Two Rivers, the son of the late Frank and Ann (Prible) Kostka. After serving his county with the U.S. Army, Wayne was united in marriage on Nov. 1, 1965, to Joann Miller in Manitowoc. Wayne worked for the Kohler Company and was a member of the union there. In 1999, he retired after more than 35 years of employment. Wayne was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, talking with people, going to social gatherings, taking his granddaughters shopping and sharing hugs and pictures with those he loved. He also enjoyed bowling and watching football. This past April the couple moved to the Shawano area to be closer to their family.Wayne is survived by his wife: Joann, of 42 years; two daughters: Kathy (Shawn) Brei of Shawano, and Tammy (Douglas) Mueller of Saukville; and five grandchildren: Emily, Shelby and Rylee Brei; and Hannah and Ella Mueller. Wayne is further survived by one brother: Frank (Lucille) Kostka of Two Rivers; two sisters: June Wacek of Wild Rose, and Ruth Valinski of Two Rivers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his son: Rusty; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel in Kohler, with the Pastor Tim Kuske officiating. Inurnment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Family and friends may call at the chapel on Wednesday after 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Valinski, age 89, of 1906 Emmet Street, Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, July 19, 2011 at Rivers Bend Health & Rehabilitation, Manitowoc. Ruth was born November 2, 1921, in Kewaunee, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Pribyl) Kostka. On November 15, 1941 she married Joseph S. Valinski in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1975. Ruth "The Toot" was the General Manager at Lee's Never Inn, Two Rivers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shooting darts, watching the Packers, singing and dancing.Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and Charlie Oakman, Azalia, MI; Shelly and Ellis Olp, Manitowoc; Mary Ellen and Gary Corbisier, West Palm Beach, Florida; Geri and Pat Hurley, Two Rivers; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Margaret Valinski, Hobart, WI; 12 grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister: June Wacek, Wild Rose, WI; three sisters-in-law: Lucille Kostka, Two Rivers; JoAnne Kostka, Shawano; and Mary Dempsky, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank Kostka and Wayne Kostka.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A private memorial service was held according to Ruth's wishes.The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home & All-Care Cremation Center, Two Rivers, assisted the family with arrangements.
