Lucille M. Kostka (1927 - 2011) Lucille M. Kostka, age 84, of 1939 31st St., Two Rivers, died peacefully Friday night, November 4, 2011, at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.Lucille was born May 5, 1927, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Archie and Julia (Yana) Baugniet. On April 19, 1947, she married Frank W. Kostka Jr. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2009. Lucille enjoyed her "card club" lady friends and playing cards and cribbage with her family and friends. Our sauerkraut and dumpling family gatherings are what legends are made of.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Jim and Liz Kostka, Weatherford, Tex.; two daughters and a son-in-law: Diane and Paul Funk, Two Rivers, and Susan Mlot, Manitowoc and her special friend, Bruce Marshall; four grandchildren: Christine (Mike) Stille, Sam (Karla) Funk, Jake (Jolene) Funk and Michael (Mary) Krom; and two great grandchildren: Tanner and Wyatt Stille. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law: June Wacek and Joanne Kostka, along with very loving nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Lee Mlot; and two brothers: Daniel and Orin Baugniet.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Leo 'Lee' J. Mlot Jr. Leo "Lee" J. Mlot Jr., age 65, of 2505 Kellner St., Manitowoc, died on Saturday morning, Dec. 29, 2007, at his residence, from lung cancer. He was born on Aug. 14, 1942, in Milwaukee, son of Ann (Witek) Mlot and the late Leo Mlot Sr. Upon graduating from high school, Lee furthered his education by receiving a computer degree. On July 20, 2001, Lee married the former Susan Kostka in Manitowoc. Lee managed a number of restaurants and bars in the Milwaukee area, including Beyond the Sea and The SafeHouse. He then left Milwaukee and opened a bar and restaurant in San Diego, Calif.� Caf�' Del Mundo. Lee later returned to Wisconsin and remained in restaurant management until retiring due to illness. Survivors include his wife: Susan of Manitowoc; his mother: Ann Mlot of Milwaukee; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Patty Trapp of Milwaukee, her daughter: Jennifer, and her children: Austin, Paige and Autumn; and Christine and Paul Gilles of West Allis and their children: Paul and Kati; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank and Lucille Kostka of Two Rivers; a brother-in-law: Jim Kostka and his wife, Liz, both of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law; Diane Funk and her husband Paul, both of Two Rivers, their special children: Christine and Mike and their children: Tanner and Wyatt, Sam and Karla, and Jake and Jolene. He is also survived by his children: Matthew and Jessica. Lee was preceded in death by his father: Leo Mlot Sr.; and a brother-in-law: Jim Trapp. Cremation has occurred, and a memorial celebration of his life will be held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Deacon Paul Gleichner. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Lee was a warm-hearted and very caring person who was always there for whoever needed him. We will miss him always. Susan and family.
