Mrs. Blahnik was a homemaker, She was a member of the Vero Beach Orchid Society, Survivors are her son, Chris K. Blahnik (wife, Lyn), one grandson, Chris K. Mary Antoinette Blahnik, 73, of Vero Beach, died Au- gust 6, 2004, at Atlantic Healthcare Center, Vero Beach, after a brief illness. Dec. 11, 2006 Carl E. Blahnik Carl E. Blahnik, age 69, of Newton, died Saturday evening, Dec. 9, 2006, after a short illness and was surrounded by his daughters and sons-in-law as he took the long walk down the track to the end. Carl was born on July 26, 1937, in Manitowoc, son of the late Wencle and Emma (Flentje) Blahnik. He served in the United States National Guard. On Dec. 16, 1961, he married Mary (Sheraski) at St. John United Church of Christ in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 2002. Carl was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed trains, Great Lakes maritime history, loved air shows, war birds and cars. He was a member of the Clipper City Chordsmen, Soo Line Historical Society, Manitowoc County and Sheboygan County Historical Societies, Civil War Round Table, Wisconsin Maritime Museum, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and other museum affiliations. Survivors include the daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and Todd Pivonka, Manitowoc, Beth and Jeff Nethery, Elkhorn, Emmy and David VandenLangenberg, Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Katie and Noah Pivonka, Jake Nethery, Wyatt and Samantha VandenLangenberg; one brother and sister-in-law: Francis and Grace Blahnik, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and fellow RAILS also survive. Carl also was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Blahnik, and one sister, Hazel Koch. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Jim Klein with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

FYI Carl Blahnik is the son of Wencle (Grandson of Thomas & Anna). Bob B.Mary M. Blahnik, age 61, a Manitowoc County resident, died on Sat. Feb. 23, 2002 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tue. Feb. 26, 2002 at St. John�s United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be Rev. Robert Meyer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mary was born on Feb. 29, 1940 in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Frank and Emily Plotka Sheraski. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1958. Mary earned a bachelor degree in Educa-tion from Silver Lake College in 1986. She married Carl E. Blahnik on Dec. 16, 1961 at St. John�s United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Mary was an educator at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum for 10 years. She then taught CPR for the Red Cross, computer basics at Sauve�s in Two Rivers and was a Purser on the Carferry Badger. Mary was also known as the "Lumber Lady" in Northeast Wisconsin educating elementary students about the lumber history in Wisconsin. She was a mem-ber of the AAUW, Greater Manitowoc Kiwanis, Pick Ribbon Society, American Cancer Society and a life member of the Manitowoc and Two Rivers Historical Societies. Mary was also a member of the Women�s Guild, Sew-n-Sews and taught Sunday School for 27 years at St. John�s United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband Carl Blahnik, Manitowoc, three daughters and sons-in-law; Judy and Todd Pivonka, Manitowoc, Beth and Jeff Nethery, Elkhorn, Emmy and David VandenLangenberg, Manitowoc. She was "Busia" to her three grandchildren; Katie, Jake and Noah. Mary is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Chester Sheraski.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Mon. Feb. 25, 2002 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at church from 10 a.m. until the time of Service at 11 a.m. on Tues. Feb. 26, 2002.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pink Ribbon Society or the American Cancer Society.

submitted by Robert J. BlahnikLucy Josetta (Cardin) Blahnik, age 88, of Green Bay died peacefully at the Bornemann Nursing Home on March 24, 2011. She was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Wausau, Wis., to the late Louis and Edith (McClean) Cardin. The family moved to Green Bay in Oct. 1923.
She attended St. John's School and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1941. After high school she went to Western Union School in Crawfordsville, Ind., and then was employed by Western Union for the next 28 years during which time she was the first woman to work in the Green Bay Packers Press Box as a telegraph operator.
Lucy married Leander (Lee) (Russ) Blahnik on May 30, 1953, at St. Philip the Apostle Church. They lived in Green Bay until 1970 at which time they established the Maple Heights Campground in Lakewood, Wis. Lee passed away in 1993, and in 1996 Lucy returned to Green Bay and since mid-2006 has resided at Bornemann's.
Lucy's mother was a piano instructor, and Lucy started by playing the piano and she switched to the violin at age 8, she played with the Polyphonia, which began in 1929 under the direction of Ludolph Arens. She started at age 13 in the Columbus Club Orchestra conducted by Alex Enna and was with Herman Daumler and the Green Bay Symphonette, which began in 1946.
She was the last surviving Charter Member of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and she played in the orchestras led by Ralph Holter, Oleg Kovalenko and Miralov Plansky.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; son, David; husband, Lee; mother and father-in-law, Leander and Agnes Blahnik; brothers, and sisters-in-laws, John Cardin, Phyllis Cardin, Robert Cardin, Ralph Blahnik, Roland Blahnik, Randolph Blahnik, Royal Blahnik, Allyn Blahnik, John Younger. Lucy is survived by her sister, Glenna Blahnik, DeKalb, Ill.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Blahnik, Rosie Polzak, Mercedes Blahnik, Rosemary Younger, Ralph and Ruby Kottke, Rosalie Blahnik and Marie Blahnik; special relatives Elaine Cotter and Marie Blahnik.
Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 28, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, Green Bay, from 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. Entombment in Allouez Mausoleum. The daughter of Louis and Edith (McClean) Cardin was born on August 15, 1929 in Green Bay, Wi. Glenna completed her grammar school education at St. Philips the Apostle School and graduated from St. Joseph's High School for Girls in 1947. She attended classes for 1 year of Baby Nursery care at a Hospital in Chicago and was employed at Montgomery Wards and Dun and Bradstreet in Green Bay.She married Robert J. Blahnik at St Phillips the Apostle Church in Green Bay on September 8, 1951. She didn't realize that her life was going to become a Travelog traveling with her husband who was a Telephone Office eqpt. installer as they ventured forward to Terre Haute, Ind., then to Paris, IL., Lafayette, Ind , Mauston, Wi. and to Clintonville, Wi so their 1st son Thomas could be born in Green Bay, Wi. in 1952. Onward to Lincoln, Ne. then to Wenatchee, Wa to welcome their 2nd son Richard 1954. After a brief stop in Ellensburg, Wa. a return to Terre Haute, Ind. and then to Pekin, IL to enjoy 3rd son Harry 1955. In 1956 they moved to Vermilion, Oh and 1st daughter Sharon was born in Lorain, Oh. soon to be joined by 2nd daughter Margaret in 1957 and 4th son James 1958 with 5th son Robert born in Amherst, Oh. in 1961 after which they chose to live in Virgil, IL. for 18 years during which time they welcomed daughter No.3 Denise 1963, and No. 4 Terry Ann 1964, 6th son Glenn 1966 and daughter No. 5 Renee in 1972.In 1980 they moved to Jackson, Mi. In 1991 they returned to Dixon, IL. Glenna enjoyed continued travel with Bob in their retirement years visiting 49 of the 50 states (not Alaska) 3 provinces in Canada, Mexico and Australia spending the 1st 4 months of each year in the Rio Grande Valley thru 1999 at which time she became disabled by Diabetic Neuropathy and lost the effective use of her legs and they relocated to Dekalb, IL to be near the location of the most of their children.Glenna was a wonderful loving wife to Bob for 60 plus years, a loving mother to 11 children, grandmother to 28 and great grandmother to 7. She was quick with a joke and instilled a great sense of love and humor in all of her children. She leaves to mourn her Thomas, Richard (Lola) Dekalb, Harry (Renee) Burnsville, Mn., Sharon Cox (John Tice) Dekalb, Margaret (Rich) Govea Rochelle, IL., James (Debra) Sycamore, IL., Robert (Cheryl) Golden, Co., Denise (Tim) Berkshire Sycamore, IL., Terry Ann (Tom) Meeusen Jenison, Mi., Glenn (Jennifer) Lafayette, In., Renee (Tom) Comeford Dekalb and Daughter-in-Law Barbara Blahnik
Auburndale, Fl, 27 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Edith Cardin, brothers John and Robert Cardin, sister and brother-in-law Lucy and Russell Blahnik, brothers-in-law Ralph Blahnik,Roland Blahnik, Randolph Blahnik and Royal Blahnik along with one Grandson Michael Blahnik.Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, a parish prayer services will be at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Phillips the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial for Glenna will be at the church at 11:00 AM on Monday with Rev. ______ officiating and Interment will follow in Allouez Catholic Cemetery (Mauselom).
