Wisconsin, USAFrank Joseph Fiala, 80, a rural Luxemburg resident, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005, at his home. He was born July 12, 1924, in the town of Pierce, to the late Frank Sr. and Anna (Blahnik) Fiala. He married Mary Kwasny on April 25, 1964, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kewaunee.He attended Kewaunee High School. Frank helped his father run the family farm and sawmill in Kewaunee until 1957 when he was employed by Leyse Aluminum Co. until his retirement in 1986. He was employed again as a security guard at Kewaunee Engineering until 2004.Over the past 25 years, he attended Latin Mass at St. Joseph's Chapel in Green Bay. He also served in the Civil Air Patrol during World War II as a radio operator.He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Bonny (Al) Hansen, Green Bay, Debby (Mark) Favorite, Minneapolis, Minn., and Tammy Fiala, Green Bay; four sons, James Fiala, Daniel (Denise) Fiala, Terrance (Vicki) Fiala and Barry Fiala, all of Green Bay; ten grandchildren, Daniel J. Fiala, Green Bay, Alexander, Lauren and Aaron Fiala, all of Green Bay, Timothy and Matthew Hansen, Green Bay, Vincent, Leo, Louis and Augustine Favorite, all of Minneapolis, Minn..; one brother, John (Ruby) Fiala, Kewaunee; three sisters, Mildred Halada, Green Bay, Lilly Hermanns, Denmark, and Regina Treml, Luxemburg; special family members, Edith Dolski and Jack Voyles.Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Mike Fiala; three brothers-in-law, Frank Halada, Leo Treml and Peter Hermanns; three infant grandchildren.Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday, April 10, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Monday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the funeral cortege leaves for the church. Requiem Mass in the traditional Latin Rite will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Institute of Christ the King, Chapel of St. Joseph, 1825 S. Riverside Dr., with Rev. Jean-Marie Moreau presiding. Burial in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Town of Casco. Family links:
