The immigration papers you mentioned that she came from Lhota. That's where my grandfather Hallama was born and he obiously knew this Mary. My sister says that he was the one who wrote to her for my grandmother. He had such lovely handwriting so my grandma always got him to write her letters. She would tell him what to say, but seeing they both knew her so it wasn't difficult for him to write.These uncles she was supposed to visit is puzzling. I wonder if these were not the same uncles of my grandmother that I discovered not too long ago who I am assuming settled in Wisconsin at that time. Will we ever find out?
