ClintonvilleAge 79, of the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 11 E. 12th Street, Clintonville passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003 at Greentree.Roland was born May 11, 1924 in Alaska, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Blahnik) Sipiorski. He grew up in the Kewaunee, WI area where he graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1941. Roland met Mildred Bosdeck and the couple were later united in marriage on November 24, 1943 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee. Roland was employed with the Hansen Glove Factory in Kewaunee and the couple later moved to Clintonville in 1950 to work at the Hansen Glove Factory in Clintonville after the Kewaunee plant was closed. Roland his wife owned and operated the Sipiorski Sewing Center and later the Knight Club in Clintonville until Roland retired in 2000. Roland was once a member of the Clintonville Eagles Club, the Clintonville Lions Club, and a Governor of the Clintonville Moose Lodge. Roland will be remembered as a loving Christian man who loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed fixing or remodeling anything.Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a daughter Connie (Patrick) Mitchell, Clintonville; four sons: Roland L. (special friend, Mary Lundin) Sipiorski, De Pere, WI; Dennis (Donna) Sipiorski, Minden NV; Gary (Gloria) Sipiorski, Clintonville; Robert (Linda) Sipiorski, Clintonville; nine grandchildren: Tricia Sipiorski, De Pere; Scott Sipiorski, Green Bay; Wendy (Chad) Krohn, Marion; Jason Sipiorski, Racine; Reese and Trace Sipiorski, Clintonville; Steven, Sara and Casey Mitchell, Clintonville; a brother-in-law, Richard (Blanche) Bosdech, Algoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harry and a sister, Loretta Thor.Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville with the Rev. Beverly Lewis officiating.Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
