Surnames: Stika, Ouradnik, Marsicek
My g-g grandparents are John (Jan?) Stika and Katerina (Ouradnik) Stika. Our records indicate that John and Katerina immigrated from Jankov, Tabor, Bohemai in 1855. They settled in the Casco area (around the village of Slovan) in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. Other relatives, particularly Ouradniks, joined them in following years.John's son John (Jr) Stika married Anna Marsicek in 1877. Their daughter Otillia is my grandmother.We have not been able to trace the family further back than that, either on the Ouradnik or Stika lines. Any information would be appreciated.

John Hrabik died on 10/14/1932. Per marriage record found in Book 7-468, Theresa
Stika Hrabik married Frank J. Svoboda on 1/23/1934. Frank was age 50, his 1st wife
Barbara Smidel died on 10/29/1930. Theresa was 54, a widow. Her parents were listed as
John and Johanna Stika.Theresa died 7/27/1966. Recorded in Book 19-296. It shows her birth date as 6/21/1872.
Father, John Sticka, Mother, Johana Thausick. Informant was Ben J. Hrabik.Theresa Svoboda's obituary in The Kewaunee Enterprise dated 8/4/1966 shows she was
born in Pierce on 6/21/1872. Her first husband John Hrabik died in 1933. She married
Frank Svoboda in 1934. He died in 1960. She is survived by her sons Ben Hrabik of
Kewaunee and William of Chicago, her 3 daughters Alice (Ed) Oke of Chicago, Edna
(Art) Beboeter of Merrill, and Mattie (Julius) Blaha of Mercer. Also surviving are 4
stepsons and 1 stepdaughter.Patty Ronzani researchJohn Sticka's last will dated 10/24/1884 on file in the Kewaunee County Building states:
1. daughter Anna when of age gets $150
2. daughters Mary, Catherine, Sarah, Theresa, and Martha when of age get $100
3. son Benjamin gets the south 20 acres of lot #2 and the north 21 acres of lot #3 all in section 31 T23R25
4. son Joseph gets all of lot 1 in section 30 T23R25
5. all livestock and machinery is to be divided equally between Benjamin and JosephStated in the will was a provision that should there not be enough to pay his daughters,
then his sons must make payment to them from the property that was left to them.Acknowledgement of receipt were present on the document for Martha dated 7/5/1899,
Theresa Hrabik dated 4/2/1900 and for Mary dated 9/24/1900.
