Jeanice Schwarten, age 81, a resident of Harmony of Two Rivers, 4606 Mishicot Rd., (formerly of 2910 - A 39th Street), Two Rivers, died Tuesday night, Jan. 24, 2012 at Harmony of Two Rivers.Jeanice was born May 9, 1930, in Kewaunee, WI, a daughter of the late Ambrose & Rose (Swejkar) Dworak. On June 19, 1950, she married Irving Schwarten at Milwaukee, WI. She completed her schooling at the Milwaukee School of Cosmetology, and practiced her trade in the Milwaukee area. She maintained her cosmetology license throughout her lifetime. Jeanice Schwarten had been a faithful Jehovah's Witness since 1957. Survivors include one son, Dale Schwarten of Two Rivers; one son & daughter-in-law, Jerome and Sylvia Schwarten, and grandson, Cody Spor, all of West Allis, WI. She is further survived by two sisters & brothers-in-law, Joan and Bud Orlebeck of Monterey, CA, Marjorie and Douglas Sleger of Two Rivers; and one sister-in-law, Sharon Dworak of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irving; and one brother, Eugene Dworak.Friends and relatives are invited to a public memorial that will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2717 - 45th St., Two Rivers. The memorial talk will be delivered by Phillip Sleger. Cremation will have taken place, with entombment of her remains to be held at Wood National Cemetery, 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI. Private services will also be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Deja & Martin Funeral Home, Two Rivers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kingdom Hall, after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial talk at 1:00 p.m.Memorials can be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2517 - 45th St., Two Rivers, WI.Deja & Martin Funeral Home, 1506 - 18th St. Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. John 5:28-29a " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life...."
