| Visit Guest Book Charles R. Hlinak, Jr. 82, died on Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Green Bay, Wis. He was born in Kewaunee, on June 11, 1929, to Charles and Mary (Herold) Hlinak.Charley graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1947 and worked for Manitowoc Engineering until his retirement.He married Joanne Raymakers on April 28, 1979 and they lived in Norman. She died on Oct. 17, 2005. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church, Norman (now St. Isidore the Farmer.) Charley will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love of sports, his perfectly tended gardens, his pleasant smile and the beautiful flowers he grew.Survivors are one brother and sister-in-law, Reiny (Joyce) Hlinak, Kewaunee; and one sister, Sister Mary Charles Hlinak, Manitowoc. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jeanie Hlinak and Caroline Hlinak. Brothers-in-law are Don Hostak and Edward Raymakers. Thirteen nieces and nephews survive, including a special nephew, Lloyd (Claire) Hlinak on the Hlinak home farm in Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and one sister, John (Janet) Hlinak, Francis Hlinak, Jim Hlinak, Marion Hostak and Paul Hlinak. One niece, Janice Hostak predeceased him, also.Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, on Thursday, April 19, with prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Isidore the Farmer Church, 18424 Tisch Mills Road, Denmark from 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012, until the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Drury at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Buchanan Funeral Home is assisting the family.Go to www.buchananfh.com to send condolences or sign the online guest book
