My name is Patricia Marie Bush Keller and I am the daughter of Eleanor Marie Blahnik Bush and Martin Edward Bush. My grandmother (Maternal) was Eleanor's mother Theresa Blahnik Mraz who was originally married to George Blahnik III who died in 1897 when my mom was only two years old. Eleanor had an older brother named Joseph Harry Blahnik who went by the nickname Harry. Theresa Blahnik remarried a year after my grandfather's death to a man named Charles Bartholomew Mraz.

I never thought that there were so many Blahnik's in the US. Paula Mraz and I are cousins. My Great Grand Mother (Teresa) was a Blahnik. She came to the United States in 1892. She started out in Algoma, Wis. Her first husband died and she then remarried. Her second husbands was a Mraz, another Czech. An arranged marriage was set up her. My Grand Father (Joseph) Mraz came from the second marriage. I do remember one of his step brothers that lived in San Pedro, Cal. Slim (nick name?) Blahnik. We were always visiting his family. My mother was there cousin. There was no step brother or step cousin, it was brother, cousin. Thats what I remember. I do know that my Great Grand Mother Teresa is buried in Algoma, Wis. She died at 99 years of age and was living in Medford, Wis. She was buried with her first husband.
