From Joel Blahnik 3/2011
Lori----I personally knew # 4 Karel Blahnik b: 1905. He was quite a musician. He was the last living student in Sevcik---a famous violin pedagogue. I was in his home twice and once had to concertize on piano, an instrument that I do not play well, so I had to make humor of what I was doing a la "Victor Borge!" It worked!!! He is now dead. He was about 90 when I met him a tall big man, about the size of Jim---and a violinist. His daughters I have met--they both are violinists and one plays in the Prague Chamber Orchestra. ============
