Robert P. "Bob" ZemanRobert P. "Bob" Zeman, age 80, of 2005 33rd St., Two Rivers, died peacefully Friday afternoon, Sept. 26, 2008, at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay, with his family at his side.Bob was born on Aug. 8, 1928, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Edmund and Virginia (Kotarek) Zeman, and attended school in Two Rivers.He entered the military in 1950, serving with the U.S. Navy until 1954.On Nov. 5, 1955, he married Ruth Blaha at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. Together, the couple enjoyed bowling in the couple's league for many years. Bob also enjoyed hunting and fishing.He was employed with Mirro Aluminum Co. for many years, retiring in 1991.Survivors include his wife, Ruth Zeman; one son and daughter-in-law: James and Lisa Zeman of Oshkosh; two daughters and sons-in-law: Vicky and Leon Struck, Kewaunee; Jane and David Berg, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren: Eric, Chris, and Tim Struck; David and Aaron Berg; and Rachel and Jared Zeman; one brother, Harold "Sonny" Zeman, and one sister, Charlotte Fuerbringer, both of Two Rivers.He is further survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law which include: Mae Zeman, Storm Lake, Iowa; Gladys (Leo) Swerbinsky, Louisville, Ky.; Violet Shedivy, Two Rivers; Marie Blaha, Two Rivers; Lynn Blaha, Two Creeks; Jerry (Darcy) Blaha, Hudson; Kenneth (Carol) Blaha, East Peoria, Ill.; and Raymond Selner, Stangelville.Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Emery Zeman; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien. Cremation has taken place.The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church after 9 a.m. Monday until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Zeman family with funeral arrangements.Herald Times ReporterSept. 28, 2008
