Frank Jerry Blahnik was born 5/23/1876 in Algoma, WI. He was a farmer for many years and married a neighbor girl, Marie Holub. Both were of Bohemian Descent (Czech). He frequently wore a bowler hat and had a tendency to drink quite a bit. He made home liquor during the depression. On Oct 28, 1920 he bought a house in Neenah, WI 214 Main Street. He had worked a while as a black smith and when he moved to Neenah he bought this blacksmith shop and was the only Blacksmith in the town. Automobiles eventually took over. Before Bergstrom bought and filled in the property across the street from this home to build a mill, the shore came up to the street at that point. He died in 1942 from Throat Cancer. He did smoke a pipe. He is buried at St. Margaret Mary Cemetery in Neenah, WI
