1926 - 2008Coletta M. Sewald, 82, of Sterling died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, in Johnstown. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Tennant Funeral Home with Vigil and Rosary to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow celebrating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Coletta was born on May 6, 1926, in St. Peters to John and Eva (Foxhoven) Becker. She graduated from St. Anthony�s High School.
On Oct. 7, 1944 she married Paul Sewald at St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a member of the Alter and Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, and the Immaculate Conception Circle.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and attending her grandchildren�s athletic competitions.
Coletta is survived by her daughters Geralyn Hemphill and husband Doug of White Rock, N.M., Jean Blahnik of Appleton, Wis., Colleen Richards and husband Randy of Fort Lupton; 12 grandchildren: Daniel and Kristen Hemphill of Fort Collins; Michael and Kevin Hemphill of White Rock, N.M.; Rahn, Rory, Rhett, and Randee Richards of Fort Lupton; James Opfer, Jacey Mueller and husband Brad, and John Blahnik, all of Appleton, Wis.; Kayla Sewald of Milwaukee, WI; one great-grandchild, Riley Mueller of Appleton, Wis.; sisters, Christine Gollobith, Pauline Hays, Helen Callow, Mary Bridges; and brothers, Florence, Bill, and Bob Becker.
Coletta was preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents John and Eva, and sister Betty Sewald.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Anthony�s Scholarship Fund, 326 S. Third St., Sterling, CO 80751.

Blahnik, Norma McGuire, and Beverly McGuire.He graduated from East Peoria High School in 1998.J.P. was a veteran serving in the Marines for four years.He also attended Illinois Central College and worked for Skaggs Brother's Construction Company.J.P. was a very loving compassionate person that helped and touched the hearts of many people in the short time he was on this earth.
