Death Welcome Relief
Mrs. John Panosh passed away this morning shortly after six o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Kadow, 1122 Sixth avenue. Death was due to pulmonary phthisis. Deceased is survived by the husband and three children, besides three sisters, three brothers and her father. She was born in Manitowoc county and was 37 years of age.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it will probably be held from the residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev Nagel will conduct the services. Mrs. Panosh had been in poor health for the past ten years and came to Antigo last July in the hope of regaining it.

Leonel C. Panosh Rites Tomorrow; Coin Enthusiast Services for Leonel C. (Lou) Panosh, veteran San Diego Masonic leader and internationally known numismatist, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Masonic Temple in Mission Valley.Panosh, of 4320 Del Mar Ave., died Tuesday in a hospital. He was 72. He retired in December as secretary of S. W. Hackett Masonic Lodge, a position he held 23 years, because of failing health.In April, 1965, Panosh retired as accountant and office manager of Harbor Transfer Co., ending an association with that firm and its predecessor companies of nearly all of the 40 years he lived here.Born at Kellnersville, Wis., the son of the late John C. Panosh, a flour mill operator there who later became a police desk sergeant at Colexico, Panosh attended Joseph Medill High School in Chicago and became known as an all-around athlete.Wounded in Action
In World War I, Panosh served as an Army infantrymen in Co. E. 132nd Infantry, 33rd Division. He was wounded in action in 1918 and spent three years in hospitals before he was discharged. He then attended Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., and was graduated in 1923 wit a degree in commerce.
Panosh was hospitalized again in Chicago and then at Navel Hospital here until 1928.Already a master Mason in Bohemia Masonic Lodge in Chicago, Panosh affiliated with S.W. Hackett Lodge here in 1943 and became its secretary. Receiving the degrees of Scottish Rite in 1930, he served as wise master of the Chapter of Rose Croix in 1940-4 and was invested as Knight Commander Court of Honor in 1947.Highest HonorPanosh was elected to the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry, the order's highest honor, in 1957.In the early 1930s, Panosh originated the San Diego Scottish Rite Bodies forum discussion and served as chairman of its committee.A coin collector more than 35 years, Panosh exhibited his collections throughout the United States. In 1956, he was awarded the Farran Zerbe Memorial Award of the American Numismatic Association, of which he was president in 1955-57. The award is the ANA's highest honor.The association, in recognition of the San Diego man's more than 26 years of membership,during which he served it in many capacities, is including a Leonel C. Panosh Memorial Museum in its new headquarters building under construction in Colorado Springs, Colo. Panosh is a life member of the ANA and recipient of many other of its awards.Panosh also was a past president and a life member of the San Diego Numismatic Society and was on its board of governors when he died.Former Editor
A founder and third president of the California State Numismatic Association, Panosh formerly was editor of its publication, Calcoin News, developed from a system of convention reports he initiated.
Panosh was a founder and past president of California Exonumist Society and served on the board of governors of the Tokens and Medals Society. He specialized in collecting coins and medals of the Grand Masters, chivalric order of the islands of Rhodes and Malta.
Panosh helped form the San Diego County Inter-Club Numismatic Council and served 10 terms as its treasurer. He founded the annual San Diego County Coinarama and was its first general chairman.Past Commander
A past commander of AEF Combat Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Panosh was a member also of the Military Order of Purple Heart and the 33rd Division War Veterans Association.
Surviving are his widow, Merle, a nationally known collector of coins, medals and decorations, and a brother.
Services for Panosh will be under the auspices of S.W./ Hackett Masonic Lodge. Cremation is planned. Bonham Brothers Mortuary is in charge.

Anton Reznichek, Sr.
Anton Reznichek, Sr., aged 72, was born in Manitowoc county on October 7, 1859. He had been failing in health for three years, but was confined to his bed only for a week previous to his death on Tuesday, May 10, at 12:30 o'clock, at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, May 13, at 2 o'clock at the residence, four miles north of this city on highway 26, the Rev. H.P. Freeling officiating. The Z.C.B.J. lodge will assist with the services. Interment will be in the Neva Corners cemetery.
Mr. Reznichek came to Antigo at the age of twenty-six years, and resided for several years in this city. He was employed by the railroad company for ten years. On May 13, 1896, he was united in marriage with Mary Panosh of Kewaunee. He moved to his farm in the town of Ackley in 1906, and had lived there since.
The children born to Mr. and Mrs. Reznichek were: Anton, Jr., Frances Marion, Victor Amos, who died at the age of nine years; Cyrus George, and George Louis.
Besides his widow Mr. Reznichek is survived by the following brothers and sisters: John Reznichek, Manitowoc; Mrs. Anna Shipek, Antigo; Mrs. William Coddo, Chicago; and Mrs. Anton Rief, Los Angeles.

Dr. Reznichek Dies Today in Madison Hospital
Dr. Cyrus G. Reznichek, 66, well known Madison physician and a native of Antigo, died early this morning at a Madison hospital. Dr. Reznichek practiced in Antigo for six months in 1934 and had been a practicing physician in Madison for the past 35 years.
He was born in Antigo in 1904 and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Reznichek.
Dr. Reznichek was a leader in his chosen profession and had served as president of the Dane County Medical Society, was a past president of the Madison Board of Health and was one of three doctors who organized the East Madison Clinic. He had served on many state medical society task forces.
He had helped found and was a past president of the Wisconsin and Madison Academy of General Practitioners and had a prominent role in the development of Blue Shield insurance programs. He also was one of two physicians chosen by the American Academy of General Practitioners to serve on the American Medical Association's task force on personnel training and utilization for national emergency care.
Dr. Reznichek was a member of the medical staffs of St. Mary's and Madison General hospitals, and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University Medical school.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sara Zanna, a daughter, Joan and two sons Drs. Robert and Richard Reznichek; a sister, Frances, and a brother, Anton, both of route 2, Antigo.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Episcopal church in Madison with the Rev. Paul Z. Hoornstra officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery, Antigo, where graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. Soman and Rhodes Funeral chapels have charge of local arrangements

Rites Set for Anton Reznichek
Funeral services for Anton Reznichek, 83, a Route 4, Antigo, dairy farmer who died Monday, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Gene Krueger will officiate at Faith United Church of Christ.
Burial will be in Neva Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Soman-Stasser Funeral Home, and at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday.
Mr. Reznichek was born in Antigo on March 22, 1897, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Reznichek. He married Marie Maher on April 19, 1930, in Berwyn, Ill.
Mr. Reznichek, a veteran of World War I, was a member of the 40 & 8, a division of American Legion Post 3. As a dairy farmer, he was also a member of the Farm Bureau.
His wife survives, along with four daughters, Nancy and Janet, Antigo, Mary Jo, Madison, and Mrs. Thomas (Roberta) Thorsen, Minneapolis; a son, John, Marshfield; seven grandchildren and a sister, Frances, Madison

Black Diptheria In Town of Antigo
Eight Year Old Son of Anton Reznichek, Living Two Miles From City on Neva Road Died From Disease Last Night- Younger Boy Also Seriously Ill-Home Placed Under Quarantine-Five Children in Family.
Black diptheria has made its appearance in the town of Antigo and one death from the disease has already resulted. Victor, the eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Reznichek, living two miles northeast of the city on Neva road, died at 11:30 o'clock last night. He had been sick with pneumonia for about a week before the other disease was detected. Another boy, six years old is very ill with diptheria. There are five children in the family. All have been given anti-toxin. The home has been placed under quarantine and the premises disenfected as well as possible. The dead boy was buried this afternoon in the cemetery of the Bohemian Brotherhood at Neva.

Marie Reznichek
Funeral services for Marie Josephine Reznichek will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Faith United Church of Christ. Rev. Ann Wahlers will officiate.
Mrs. Reznichek died Friday at her town of Antigo home. She was 95 years old.
Born July 6, 1903 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Sirovatka) Maher. She married Anton O. Reznichek in Chicago on April 19, 1930. He preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1980.
