Services Set Tuesday for J. Reznichek
Funeral services for Joyce Reznichek, 72, of 520 Second Ave., Antigo, are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Church of Christ, Rev. Gene Kruger will officiate.
Mrs. Reznichek died unexpectedly Thursday at Langlade Memorial Hospital.
Born March 27, 1911 in Ironwood, Mich., she was a daughter of the late George Gunderson and Clara Eggen. She married George Reznichek on Sept. 4, 1937 at First Congregational Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death.
She was an active member of the Antigo Women's Club for many years, serving in the Fine Arts Department of the organization. She also was a Girl Scout leader for many years.
Mrs. Reznichek was a member of Faith United Church of Christ and was active in the Women's Fellowship Guild at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Krueger of Kailua, Hawaii and Mrs. James A. (Cara) Mavis of Stevens Point, a brother, William E. Gunderson of Pelican Lake; and one grandchild.
A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Soman-Strasser Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church Tuesday.
Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
