My mother' name was Seeman . . .German.katherine Simonek whom you list as my mother was really my grand-mother who married Frank Blahnik, my grand-father.Joseph Simonek was my great grandfather, and katherine and Anna were 2 of his daughters. Yes got that. He also had a son Joe Simonek was was quite a drinker. They are all pictured on the Blahnik/Simonek taken on the Simonek farm west of Kewaunee about 8 miles. The Simoneks are buried in St. John's cenetary in Krok . I ' ve been there several times.I never knew the name of great-grand father's wife name of Alvine Pilzak. And it seems that my great grandfather, Josef Simonek was born in Usa, and his father, Josef, born in 1824, had to be one to emigrate. This is news to me. Am I right in assuming this?I have with Leon to what I thinkmis the Simonek reidence as House # 1 in Nemcice which is in the Blahnik Palm of the hand. Very friendly people . ..... Beebnto home 2-3 times. I can show this to Jon when we go. It is a nice village. Can you trace something down on this Josef Blahnik, born where and came to USA in what year? I see that he died on March 5, 1899. His wife's namecwas Hula. Interesting. from where in the old country?Peter Simonek had the next frm to Josef Simonek. I havevdriven by itvwith Leon a couple of times and he did not know anything ofbthis Pet. it makes sense. So that means that Isabel who, just died was a cousin to Leon.
