son of Georg Blahnik (1813-1894 - Immigrant) and Katerina Blaha (1814-1892)

JOSEPH⁶ BLAHNIK, Jr  (JOSEPH⁵, GEORG⁴, GEORGIUS³, JACOBUS², WENCESLAUS¹) was born Jan. 23, 1870 (source: Wisconsin Births and Christenings, 1826-1926) in Piercetown, Kewaunee Co, WI.  He was the son of immigrant Joseph Blahnik and his first wife Mary Bor.  His occupation was that of a farmer.  He married Theresia Kumbera on August 08, 1899 in Kewaunee County, WI (source: Vol B page 388 Kewaunee Co. marriages). Theresia Mary was the daughter of Bartholomew Kumbera and either a Maria or Shristina Jindrae.  Together this couple had three children.  Theresia died Dec. 19, 1932 in Algoma, WI and Joseph died Jan 8, 1940 in Egg Harbour, Door Co, WI.  They are buried at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Casco Twp, Kewaunee Co, WI.
