JACOB ANTON BLAHNIK,6   (ANTON5, GEORG4, GEORGIUS3, JACOBUS2, WENCESLAUS1) was born July 25, 1891 in Ahnapee, Kewaunee, Co., WI. (source WWI Draft Registration Card)  He was a farmer.  Jacob married Henrietta Krueger (daughter of August and Alvina (Raeder) Krueger) on February 15, 1926 in Algoma, Kewaunee Co WI (Kewaunee Co Records - Marriages, vol 6 pg 271.) They had fifteen children. 
Jacob died April 2, 1955 in Algoma, WI and Henrietta died Dec 15, 1972.  They are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Algoma, WI

Howard (Harold) "Chum" Joseph Blahnik  

Howard "Chum" Blahnik, 82, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 21, 2009, at a local hospital with his wife by his side. Born in Algoma, May 23, 1926, he is the son of the late Jacob and Henrietta (Krueger) Blahnik. Chum went to St. Mary's Grade School and Algoma High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II in 1944 and ultimately reenlisted for the Korean War. Chum received seven battle stars and other medals to which he was very proud. He married the former Dolores Tenor on July 11, 1953, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Algoma. Chum was a longtime U.S. Postal worker. He was a member of the American Legion Post #11, Black Ash Gun Club in Algoma, and a lifetime member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Chum is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dolores, Green Bay; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bob (Judi) Blahnik, Algoma; Vincent (Sue) Blahnik, Forestville; Maynard (Mary Jo) Blahnik, Kewaunee; Larry Blahnik, and Donnie Blahnik, both of Algoma; two sisters-in-law, Bev Blahnik, Kewaunee; and Joanne Blahnik, Luxemburg; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Leo (Helen) Blahnik, and Jim and Pete Blahnik; two sisters, Gertude Blahnik and Myrtle Mattice.
