John Jr. died Feb 28, 1944 in Ahnappee, WI. Katherine died April 8th 1950 in Algoma.  John, Annie Clara Schneider, Katherine Kumbera and his brother Joseph are all buried in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Ahnapee Twp.
